MISSION PROPOSITION

UNITE for such a time as this.

Mordecai spoke these words to Queen Esther in a time of intense trouble as she wondered whether God could use her to help men, women, and children in her generation.

Today, we at Heights Church find ourselves answering this question with a resounding YES! God will use us to help the people of our generation experience God. In FAITH, we UNITE for such a time as this to REGROUP, RECOMMIT, gather RESOURCES, REDEPLOY and REFUEL the mission of God for our city.

FORTIFYING

Ministry & Operations

Children’s Ministries Pastor/Budget

We desire to come alongside of parents so that more children may come to know the love of Jesus. We provide our Sunday Services, Heights 45, and the Heights Kids Camp for the purpose of transformation.

Classics Ministries Pastor/Budget

We hope to help seniors to strengthen their faith and service in the Kingdom of God.

Communications Director/Budget

Our mission is to ensure that the overall vision of Heights Church is communicated effectively through multiple avenues of media. In addition, we desire to encourage people to engage with the multiple opportunities for pursuing God, building community, and unleashing compassion at Heights Church.

Facilities Director/Budget

Our mission is to provide God-honoring spaces for the important work of Heights Church to be accomplished.

Finance Director/Budget

We would like to see all our ministries flourish financially so we can move forward in our mission with the resources we need to be successful.

Lead Pastor/Budget

My desire is to lead the vision and mission while equipping the amazing people of Heights Church to impact our generation for the name of Jesus.

Life Groups Pastor/Budget

Our desire is to increase the number of opportunities for people to connect and belong by developing more Life Groups. In addition, we will focus on equipping leaders to raise up new leaders.

Married Life Ministries Budget

We hope to impact many more marriages with our Life Groups meeting on campus and online. More specifically, we hope to see couples make lasting, Christ-honoring decisions in their marriages.

Men’s & Women’s Ministries

We have ministries specifically for men and women, which are a combination of our Life Group experience and events that happen throughout the year.

Missions/Outreach Budget

The heart of Heights Church Outreach is to demonstrate the love of Jesus to our community by taking every opportunity to serve our local schools, partner with our city, and meet the needs of our community. We fulfill this mission by: supporting 2 missionaries, providing benevolence support when our people are in need, supporting our homeless outreach, and by providing backpacks and other resources to our local schools.

Online Campus Budget

We desire to see the online campus become a place for greater connection and community. We are pushing the envelope to provide a place for people to authentically engage and grow their faith with online resources. Fun Fact: 55% of our people attend Heights Church weekly through the online campus.

Pastor of Administration and Prayer/Budget

Through administration bring greater efficiency to the organizational side of Heights Church to increase the effectiveness of fulfilling our mission. Lead people to experience God through in-person engagement in prayer after our Sunday services and by covering prayer requests through our prayer chain.

Restoration Ministries Pastors/Budget

We are excited to help people discover real hope and life change. We provide experiences that lead people to the powerful touch and truth of Jesus for their lives. We want many more finding true healing and freedom from addiction, shame, fear, and brokenness. We do this through the ministries of Celebrate Recovery, Soul Care and Keys to Freedom.

Student Ministries Pastors/Budget

Our desire is for students to passionately follow Jesus, which is why we provide a place for students to belong and pursue friendships with other students who are also deeply committed to Christ. Together, our students are making an impact in our generation.

Step 1

This is the first and most important step in preparing your heart for responding to God’s call to action. Ask Him what He would have you give, and then just listen to what He says.

God doesn’t expect equal giving, but He does want equal sacrifice. Think in terms of what you can give up in order to reach and change lives.

We serve an awesome God, so trust that He will provide what He impresses upon you to give. Leave room for faith in your commitment and expect a miracle!
